Lesson 15: Reincarnation, Return, Recurrence / Lesson 16: The Scales of Justice
Reincarnation
- Reincarnation requires a human to have Individuality (Integrity).
- A person with a Sacred Individuality has an awakened Consciousness and can choose the conditions of his Reincarnation.
- E.g. the family in which he will be born, the place, the time, the Zodiac sign, etc.
Return
- An ordinary person is not reincarnated. Simply, the “egos” return unconsciously to repeat the same dramas.
- An ordinary person cannot choose the conditions of his Return.
Recurrence
- The Law of Return is always linked to the Law of Recurrence (Repetition).
- Everything in the world returns and is repeated non-stop.
- This is because time is not a straight line: time is a circle.
- Thus, the ‘ego’ returns 108 times in life to repeat the same dramas and relive the same events.
- In reality we do not have 108 lives, but one life that is repeated 108 times.
- Life is like a movie film we take with us after death and show it again when we return to a new body.
- People’s ‘egos’ telepathically communicate in a subconscious way, in order to repeat the same dramas.
- Therefore, the Law of Recurrence is based on the ‘ego’.
- The actors who play in all these dramas that we repeat in every existence, are the different ‘egos’.
- As long as someone has the ‘ego’ inside, he/she will be a victim of circumstances, obliged to repeat the same dramas over and over again.
- When we dissolve the ‘ego’, the dramas can no longer be repeated, as long as the actors no longer exist.
- Thus, we are freed from the Law of Return and Recurrence.
Spiral Motion
- Every life is a repetition of the previous one, plus the good and bad consequences.
The Scales of Justice - The Law of Karma-Dharma
The Law of Karma-Dharma is the Law of cause and effect.
- The word “Karma” means in Sanskrit “act” or “action”.
- Every bad deed produces Karma, that means a debt.
- E.g. illness, poverty, conflicts, failures, problems, etc.
- The word “Dharma” means in Sanskrit “universal law” or “cosmic order”.
- Every good deed produces Dharma, that means a reward.
- E.g. health, prosperity, friends, success, peace, understanding, enlightenment, etc.
- One gets Karma not only for the evil he did, but also for the good he could have done but did not do.
- Karma is not a punishment: it is the medicine of the Soul.
How Can Karma Be Paid Off
Someone can pay off Karma in 3 ways:
1. With pain.
- As serious as a sin is, the pain it causes, has a certain extent/amount which, when paid, the debt is written off.
- “Whoever has capital to pay, pays and goes well in his negotiations. He who does not have with what to pay, has to pay with pain.”
2. With good deeds.
- We can often avoid pain by paying with service and sacrifice.
- “Do good deeds to pay off your debts.”
3. By being forgiven.
- This can only be done by repenting and dissolving the ‘ego’ that produced it.
- “A superior law washes away an inferior one.”
Karma is Negotiable
- The Law of Karma is not a mechanical law.
- The Law of Karma is governed by conscious Beings: the Lords of the Law.
- Someone can negotiate his/her Karma with the Lords of the Law, offering in return some kind of service or sacrifice to others.
- He can also ask for “credit” in order to be given something he needs (physical or internal) and to repay it later.
- But he must be very careful to fulfill his promise and pay the “credit” he asked for, otherwise Karma will fall on him, forcing him to pay with pain.
- “We can fight the Lion of the Law with the Scales.”
