Lesson 5: The Vibration of Sound As It Relates to the Human Body
PENSUM
- Definition of the concepts Light, Heat, Sound (vibration). The relationship between these three and the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
WHAT SHOULD BE TAUGHT:
- These three principles: LIGHT, HEAT AND SOUND are found in the Unmanifested Chaos and come from the Unmanifested God.
- That our physical body as well as our inner bodies (manifest God) is the crystallization of LIGHT, HEAT and SOUND or VIBRATION.
- How everything that exists: the Galaxies, the systems, the worlds is the crystallization of these three principles.
- The relationship between sound and music in reference to the human body.
- The 7 vowels and their relationship with the human body.
- Sound and Soul. Sound and Health.
- The creation of the Super-Man and how to achieve the union with our real Being.
- Light and Self-Awareness and the Body of Teaching.
- Warmth and regeneration of the physical body and internal bodies.
- Sound and the Awakening of Consciousness.
PRACTICE: DETAILED EXPLANATION OF VOTING MANDRAMS
The Absolute
(See “Tarot and Kabbalah”, chapter “The Absolute”, “The AIN”, “The AIN SOPH”) (See “My Return to Tibet”, chapter “Dark Light”, “The Unconscious”, “The Homogeneous Base”, “Darkness”)
- All creation flows from the Absolute: The Absolute is the BEING of all Beings. He is neither some God, nor any divine or human person. It is the Abstract Absolute Space. It is a state of absolute freedom, happiness and omniscience. The Absolute appears to us as darkness, because it is incomprehensible to the mind. But for the inhabitants of the Absolute (the Paramarthasatyas) it is Uncreated Light.
The Creation and the Worlds
(See “Thesis of Hermetic Astrology”, chapter “Taurus”) (See “The Science of Music”, chapter “The Law of 3”)
- Within the Unmanifested Absolute the 3 Primary Forces form a self-conscious unity: the WORD. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” — John’s Gospel
- This is the basis of all the Trinities found in the various religions. i.e. Christianity: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. i.e. Hinduism: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva. i.e. Egypt: Osiris, Horus, Isis.
| 1st Power | Active | Holy Confirmation | 1st Logos | Father | Brahma |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2nd Power | Passive | Holy Denial | 2nd Logos | Son | Vishnu |
| 3rd Power | Neutral | Holy Reconciliation | 3rd Logos | Holy Spirit | Shiva |
- In manifestation, the 3 Primal Forces separate and rejoin, and where they rejoin something is created.
The 3 Forces Create
- Not only the 7 Worlds, but also all the phenomena that occur in them, are created by 3 forces.
| 1st Power | Positive | Active |
|---|---|---|
| 2nd Power | Negative | Passive |
| 3rd Power | Neutral | Conciliatory |
This is the Law of Triamazikamno.
It is not possible to create something with only one or two forces.
- i.e. to create a child, two forces are not enough. For instance, a man (positive force) and a woman (negative force) are not enough. A third force needs to appear (the love attraction) that will unite them.
- To create a table, you need a carpenter (active force), the wood he will use (passive force) and a third force that will push him to sculpt it (motivation, inspiration). When we notice a pause in the growth of anything, it means that the 3rd power is missing. People do not see the 3rd force because their Consciousness is asleep.
Sound - Light - Heat
(See “Light in the Darkness”, chapter “The Sephirotic Tree”)
The 3 Forces are expressed in creation as:
Sound: 1st Power (Father) Light: 2nd Power (Son) Heat: 3rd Power (Holy Spirit)
- Heat: Heat activates the biological aspect of an organism. If there is no Heat, there is no reproduction. Therefore, it is related to life energy: sexual energy.
- Light: This organism that already has life (Heat) needs Light, because without it there is no life on the surface of the Earth. Light gives all organisms personal and independent life. Allows organisms to perceive the environment.
- Sound: Even if we do not hear it, every organism has a note-vibration (Sound). All the notes of the creatures living on a planet make up the note of the planet, and the notes of all the planets make up the “music of the spheres”. Therefore, Sound helps every organism to live in harmony with creation and thus to have peace. Sound gives the human organism the intelligence to know the science that governs it.
(See “Will Christ”, chapter “The Third cannon”)
| Sound | Peace | Harmony with the Infinite |
|---|---|---|
| Light | Freedom | Personal Life |
| Heat | Love | Sexual Energy |
- These 3 Forces are in imbalance within man: Sound: Imbalance and pain (disharmony). Light: Inner darkness. Heat: Abuse of sexual energy.
- We are distant from: The Father: We do not know the purpose of life. The Son: We have no light. The Holy Spirit: We do not know how to use sexual energy properly.
- This misuse of the 3 Forces causes imbalance: In Nature (natural disasters) In Society (war, hatred, destruction) In the Physical Body (diseases, stress, pain)
- The solution to this is: to get back into balance with the 3 Forces: Father: with the Awakening of Consciousness. Son: with Self-knowledge, creating Light within us. Holy Spirit: with the Rebirth.
| Triad | Power | Imbalance | Solution |
|---|---|---|---|
| Father | Sound | Disharmony | Awakening of Consciousness |
| Son | Light | Inner Darkness | Self-awareness / Light within us |
| Holy Spirit | Heat | Abuse of sex. energy | Renaissance |
- In this lesson we will study Mantras which are a technique to work with the 1st Force, the Sound and to unite closer with the Father.
Mantras
(See “Word, Mantra, Theurgy”, chapter “Mantra”)
-
The 7 Vowels of Nature resonate throughout creation: I-E-O-U-A-M-S (in esotericism “M” and “S” are considered vowels).
Much earlier, in the Golden Age (in Lemuria), the seven Sounds of Nature resonated within the human organism. When humanity fell, that rhythm and that harmony was lost. We must now regain within ourselves the vibration of the seven Vowels, voicing them daily.
-
Mantras are wise phonetic combinations of letters, the sounds of which produce spiritual, mental and physical effects. More simply we can say that Mantras are words of power. Mantras are letters, syllables or words from the Golden Language.
In the Golden Age (in Lemuria), before the fall, we spoke the Golden Language and our speech had the power to command the elements of Nature. There are Mantras to develop each chakra, to do Astral Projection, to gain power over the elements, to protect us from negative forces, etc.
-
Speech has a close relationship with Sexual Energy. i.e. when a boy enters teenage years, his voice changes due to the activity of the sex glands. i.e. people who are sexually degenerated have an excessively deep or shrill tone of voice. Speech is sexual, therefore: speech creates. That is why we must be very careful with our words. The misuse of speech (e.g. lies, bad words, arguments, insults, etc.) pollutes our sexual energy and makes us lose the power of speech.
The 7 Chakras
(See “The Mysteries of Fire”) (See “The Aquarius Message”) (See “The Mysteries of Eleusis”) (See “The Perfect Marriage”, chapter “The 7 Churches”) (See “The Great Mysteries”, chapter “The 7 Churches”) (See “Endocrinology and Criminology”) (See “Occult Medicine and Practical Magic”, chapter “Meditation”) (See “Handbook of Practical Magic”, chapter “The Empress”)
- Chakras are energy magnetic centers. They are in the Astral body, but not in the physical. They are located along the spine. They are referred to in the Revelation of John as the Seven Churches. “Chakras” in Sanskrit means “wheels” because they look like vortices or lotus flowers sprouting from the spine.
- From each chakra emanate certain energy channels (nadis) which resemble petals. Half of the petals of each chakra are already developed, while the other half are developing during the inner course.
| Chakra | Church | Place | Colour | Petals |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sahasrara | Laodicea | Pineal gland | Gold (Masters) Violet | 972 |
| Ajna | Philadelphia | Pituitary gland | Pure White | 96 |
| Vishudha | Sardis | Larynx | Intense Blue | 16 |
| Anahata | Thyatira | Heart | Vivid Red | 12 |
| Manipura | Pergamon | Solar Plexus | Like clouds full of fire | 10 |
| Svadhisthana | Smyrna | Prostate / Uterus | blood red | 6 |
| Muladhara | Ephesus | Coccyx | Purple (Masters) / Yellow-Red (Initiates) / Dirty Red (Lustful) | 4 |
When a chakra is playing (positively) it starts spinning clockwise
In negative clairvoyance the chakras rotate counterclockwise (i.e., the chakras of psychics, drug addicts, etc.)

(See “Endocrinology and Criminology”, chapter “Positive and Negative Insight”)
The Chakras and the Super-Senses
- Chakras are the senses of the Astral body. Each chakra, when activated, gives us some supernatural senses or abilities.
| Chakra | Place | Abilities |
|---|---|---|
| Sahasrara | Crown | Polyvision |
| Ajna | Mid-Brow | Clairvoyance |
| Vishudha | Larynx | Clairaudience |
| Anahata | Heart | Intuition |
| Manipura | Solar Plexus | Telepathy |
| Svadhisthana | Prostate / Uterus | Astral Travel |
| Muladhara | Coccyx | Kundalini |
- Polyvision is intuitive clairvoyance It is also called ‘The Eye of Intuition’, ‘The Diamond Eye’, ‘The Sight of Jivan Mukta’. With this ability we can study the Akashic Records.
- Clairvoyance is the ability to see supersensible things. For instance the higher and lower worlds, the Angels, the disembodied, etc.
- Clairaudience is the ability to hear supersensible things. The music of the Spheres, the voices of Angels, demons, the disembodied, etc.
- Intuition is the ability to know the truth immediately, without thinking. It is a faculty that belongs to Consciousness and Being.
- Telepathy is the ability to gain consciousness from the thoughts and feelings emitted by others.
The 7 Churches
- In the Apocalypse of John, seven churches are mentioned in each of which there is an Angel. These Churches are related to the Chakras. Angels are seven parts of our Being (the 7 Reasons within us).
- The difference between “Chakras” and “Churches”: When a Chakra is purified and activated it becomes a Church. Then the corresponding Logos (a part of our Being) related to it can and does work within this Church.
| Church | Place | Planet | Logos |
|---|---|---|---|
| Laodicea | Pineal gland | Saturn | Orifiel |
| Philadelphia | Pituitary gland | Jupiter | Zachariel |
| Sardis | Larynx | Mars | Samael |
| Thyatira | Heart | Sun | Michael |
| Pergamon | Solar Plexus | Venus | Uriel |
| Smyrna | Prostate / Uterus | Mercury | Raphael |
| Ephesus | Coccyx | Moon | Gabriel |
Chakras and Kundalini
- Kundalini is a sexual bio-electromagnetic energy located in the Muladhara Chakra. “Kundalini” is a word from ancient Atlantis: Kunta = the instrument Kundartiguador, Lini = end Kundalini = the end of the Kundartiguador instrument. This energy is an expression of the Divine Mother in the body. Kundalini is like a serpent, coiled three and a half times in the church of Ephesus. These three and a half times are symbolic: the 3 symbolizes the 3 Gunas (Sattva, Rajas, Tamas) and the half symbolizes manifestation.
- When one works with the Second Factor of the Revolution of Consciousness, the Kundalini is awakened and ascends through the spine.
When Kundalini is encased in the Church of Ephesus, the Chakras are closed and hanging from the spine.
As the Kundalini rises it activates the chakras, which begin to spin and rise upwards.
- The Kundalini of the physical body activates the centers associated with the glands and nerve plexuses of the physical body.
- The Kundalini of the vital body activates the vortices of the vital body.
- The Kundalini of the astral body activates the chakras of the astral body.
- The Kundalini of the mental body activates the cones of the mental body.
The Lung Chakras
- Apart from the 7 basic Chakras, there are also various others.
- In the lungs there are two Chakras that allow us to remember our past lives. These Chakras are activated with the vowel “A”.
Vocalization
(See “Word, Mantra, Theurgy”, chapter “The Chakras”)
- One hour of chanting daily is worth more than reading a thousand theosophical books.
| Vowel | Enables | Abilities |
|---|---|---|
| I | Piturial & Pineal gland | Clairvoyance |
| E | Thyroid | Clairaudience |
| O | Heart | Intuition |
| U | Solar Plexus | Telepathy |
| A | Lungs / Thymus gland | Memories of Past Lives |
| M | Prostate / Uterus | Astral Travel |
| S | Coccyx | Kundalini |
Practice: Vocalization
- At the end of this lesson we have to explain to people how to vocalize and give them a short vocalization practice.
- How we vocalize: We sit with our backs straight, with the body relaxed and without thinking about other things. We focus on the Chakra we want to activate. We inhale through the nose, simultaneously raising the energy from the coccyx to the chakra we are working with. Voice until the air is completely emptied from the lungs.
- Various details: We can work with a single chakra, or we could also work with all chakras. If we want to work with all the chakras, we must do it following the sequence of the 7 Vowels (I-E-O-OU-A-M-S) by voicing each vowel 7 times: first we will do 7 times “I” concentrated in the middle ear, then 7 times the “E” concentrated in the larynx, etc. We cannot do vocalization exercises (or any kind of conversion) when we are sick, when a woman is unwell or pregnant, or 40 days after giving birth.
Guided Vocalization Practice
- Then we will give them a short guided practice: We first take a few deep breaths, relax, clear the mind, etc. Then all together we will vocalize concentrated in one chakra (i.e … the heart). The practice will last about 10-15 minutes.
- Finally, let’s encourage people to spend a little time voicing each day (eg 10 minutes or as much as everyone wants) and in the next lesson to tell us their results and experiences.
Second Chamber Information
Just for our own understanding, not to share it with the First Chamber.
The 3 Aspects of the Absolute
- The Absolute has 3 aspects:
- AIN: the Unmanifested Absolute, where only the Paramarthasatyas dwell. Here there is a strange development that even the Gods do not know.
- AIN SOPH: this is where all creatures reside during the Cosmic Night, because they have no right to enter AIN.
- AIN SOPH AUR: the Solar Absolute. Here we find the purely spiritual Primordial world consisting of Spiritual Suns.
The 7 Worlds
(See “Yes, Yes, Yes”, chapter “The Seven Worlds”) (See “The Dissolution of the Ego”, chapter “The Seven Worlds”) (See “Thesis on Hermetic Astrology”, chapter “Taurus”)
| World | Constitutes | Laws | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Primordial world | Solar Absolute | 1 | DO |
| Saintworld | Infinite | 3 | SI |
| Macrocosm | Galaxy | 6 | LA |
| Second world | Solar system | 12 | SO |
| Mesocosm | Planet | 24 | FA |
| Microcosm | Human | 48 | MI |
| Third word | Inferno | 96 - 864 | RE |
- Logos (the 3 Powers) creates 7 Worlds: In the Primordial World the 3 Powers are still One. The Will of the Absolute is fulfilled (1 Law). In the Saint World they are separated and appear as three Wills (3 Laws). In this world the Absolute creates the cosmic plan according to which everything proceeds mechanically. In the Macrocosm the Will of the Absolute is no longer fulfilled and mechanicalness increases (6 Laws). Continuing through the Second World into the Third World the mechanics increase, the laws increase and we move further and further away from the Will of the Absolute.
The Liberation
(See “The Science of Music”, chapter “The Law of 3”) (See “Tarot and Kabbalah”, chapter “Arcana 19”)
- Liberation is to gradually free ourselves from the various laws, until we return to the Absolute. We free ourselves from the world of the 48 Laws by creating the Astral Body. We free ourselves from the world of 24 Laws by creating the Mental Body. We free ourselves from the world of the 12 Laws by creating the Causal Body. We are breaking free from the world of 6 Laws, the world of 3 Laws and the world of 1 Law by continuing to work with the 3 Factors of the Revolution of Consciousness.
The Creation of the Solar System
(See “The Mysteries of Fire”, chapter “The Universal Fire”) (See “Thesis on Hermetic Astrology”, chapter “Taurus”) (See “The Message of Aquarius”, chapter “The Church of Sardis”) (See “The Buddha’s Necklace”, chapter “The Infant Sun”)
- At the dawn of each universe Absolute Darkness turns into Chaos. Chaos is the Womb of the Divine Mother, Moolaprakriti, the Prime Matter, the Waters of Life. Microcosmically, our Chaos is the sperm: the sexual energy.
- The creative process of the Law of 3 begins with the fertilization of Chaos by Word.
- The Father (1st Word) commanded the Holy Spirit (the Elohim) to impregnate the Divine Mother (Chaos) to begin creation.
- According to the Law of 7 seven, Temples were established in Chaos.
- According to the Law of 3 in each Temple there was a Priest, an Isis and a Choir. One Elohim polarized his male side, another Elohim polarized the female side, and a chorus of Elohim represented the neutral principle. The Divine Masculine, the Divine Feminine and the Choir sang the Fire Liturgy. In this way the Logos (the Voice Army) fertilizes the Chaos to give birth to the Universe.
The Unfolding of the 3 Forces
- There are three Masters who are manifestations of the 3 Forces and participated in the creation of our solar system. V.M. Saraswati is the unfolding of the Father. V.M. Lakhsmi is the unfolding of the Son. V.M. Parvati is the unfolding of the Holy Spirit.
- They are related to the 3 Factors: V.M. Saraswati is associated with Death. V.M. Lakhsmi is associated with Sacrifice. V.M. Parvati is associated with Birth.
- In turn, the 3 Factors relate to the 3 Houses: The 1st Chamber is related to Sacrifice and the Son since that is where we impart the Teaching. The 2nd Chamber is related to Birth and the Holy Spirit as it has to do with transubstantiation. The 3rd Chamber is associated with Death and the Father.
- The 3 Masters also relate to some of our inner bodies: V.M. Saraswati relates to the Mental Body. V.M. Lakhsmi is associated with the Astral Body (it is the ruler of the astral light of our planet). V.M. Parvati relates to the Physical Body.
| Master | Manifestation | Factor | Chamber | Body |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Saraswati | Father | Death | 3rd | Mental |
| Lakhsmi | Son | Sacrifice | 1st | Astral |
| Parvati | Holy Spirit | Birth | 2nd | Physical |
Chakras
- In our body we have:
Seven glands/chakras (according to the Law of 7).
Three nervous systems (according to the Law of 3).
- Cerebrospinal: the throne of the Divine Spirit. Produces very rare conscious functions.
- Sympathetic: is the vehicle of the Astral body. Regulates unconscious and instinctive functions.
- Parasympathetic: obeys the commands of the mind. Limits the instinctive functions under the orders of the mind.
(See “The Perfect Marriage”, chapter “The 7 Churches”)
The Chakras and the Elements
(See “Endocrinology and Criminology”, chapter “Tatvas and Hormones”)
- The magnetic centers (chakras) are associated with the endocrine glands. Glands are laboratories which convert Tattvas into hormones. Tattvas enter the chakras and from there pass into the glands. The glands turn them into hormones, genes and chromosomes, which then turn into sperm.
| Chakra | Gland / Organ | Tatva | Element | Mantra |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sahasrara | Pineal Gland | Samadhi | Fire | AUM |
| Ajna | Pituital Gland | Adhi | Mind | OM |
| Vishudha | Thyreoid / Parathyreoid | Akash | Ether | HAM |
| Anahata | Heart | Vayu | Air | YAM |
| Manipura | Liver / Stomach / Pancreas / Spleen | Tejas | Fire | RAM |
| Svadhisthana | Prostate / Uterus / Kidneys / Belly | Apas | Water | VAM |
| Muladhara | Gonads | Prittvi | Earth | LAM |
- By activating each chakra, we gain power over the element it is associated with. With the Muladhara Chakra we control earthquakes. With the Svadhisthana Chakra we control the windy storms in the sea. With the Manipura Chakra we control volcanoes and fires and can stay in the flames without being harmed. With the Anahata Chakra we control hurricanes and storms and can fly in the air. With the Vishudha Chakra we control the ether and can maintain our physical body even in the Cosmic Night.
Other Chakras
- In the liver there is a chakra that allows us to consciously go out into the astral. This chakra is the seat of the astral body. It also has a close relationship with the transformation of impressions. It is activated with the letter “G” and the mantra “FE UIN DAGJ”.
- In the spleen there is also a chakra. This chakra is the seat of the vital body. When the physical body sleeps, the spleen chakra absorbs the energy left by the sun during the day, and charges the physical body with this energy. It is activated with the letter “B”.
- In the kidneys there are two chakras associated with purity. They appear dirty red to the lustful and pure white to the pure.
- On the knees are two chakras associated with the planet Saturn. Energies rising from the earth, when they pass through these chakras, gain stability. These chakras are associated with humility, which is why prayers are often done on the knees.
