Egyptian Pranayama for Men

  • We sit towards (facing) the east.
  • We close our eyes, concentrate on the Divine Mother, praying to awaken our consciousness and help us.
  • The chest, neck and head remain in a straight line. The palms of the hands rest loosely on the thighs.
  • The mind is directed inwards, towards the Divine Mother, loving her, adoring her.
  • Use the index finger and thumb of the right hand.

First Half (TON - SA - HAM)

  • We close the right nostril with the thumb and mentally vocalize the mantram TON, inhaling very slowly from the left nostril.
  • Close the left nostril with the index finger. We hold our breath. We send the prana to the Church of Ephesus, mentally vocalizing the mantram SA
  • Exhale very slowly from the right nostril, mentally vocalizing the mantram HAM.

Second Half (TON - RA - HAM)

  • Close the left nostril with the index finger.
  • We inhale prana from the right nostril, mentally vocalizing the mantram TON. Close the right nostril with the thumb. We send prana to the Muladhara chakra, mentally vocalizing the mantram RA.
  • Exhale very slowly from the left nostril, mentally vocalizing the mantram HAM

All these steps constitute a complete Pranayama. Six consecutive Pranayama must be done at dawn and dusk.

Closing Posture

  • We get up from the chair and kneel on the ground.
  • Place the palms of the hands on the ground, with only the thumbs and forefingers touching each other.
  • Full of deep contemplation, with the head facing east, we lean the forehead on the upper part of the hands, like the Egyptians.
  • We vocalize out loud the mantram RA, 7 times in a row. This mantram has the power to make the Kundalini vibrate.

The Transmutation of Sexual Energies

  • Along the spine there are two channels that go up to the brain in the form of an 8.
    • This is the Caduceus of Mercury.
    • These channels belong to the 4th dimension.
    • They start from the sexual organs, pass through the nostrils and end forming a “knot” in the “third eye”, the area between the eyebrows.
  • The positive channel is called Pingala”.
    • It is warm, red and through it the solar energies pass.
    • In men it starts at the left testicle and ends at the right nostril.
    • In women it starts in the right ovary and ends in the left nostril.
  • The negative channel is called Ida”.
    • It is cold, white and the lunar energies pass through it.
    • In men it starts from the right testicle and ends in the left nostril.
    • In women it starts in the left ovary and ends in the right nostril.
  • Through sexual transmutation, sperm is transformed into creative energy.
    • This energy rises through the two channels to the brain.
