First Chamber Manual

Second Edition | 11.11.2023

Prologue

We want to thank and warmly congratulate Brother Foivos Athanasiadis who, with the patience and persistence of a clergyman in his cell, making a huge effort, managed to crystallize this work, which will not only be extremely useful to all Instructors and Missionaries of Greece, but will also raise the level at which the Gnostic Teaching is transmitted in this country, ultimately also bringing about a great benefit to all people who will come forward to receive the Secret Doctrine…

How I would like this Manual to be translated into Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and other languages…

As the author himself states in his Preface, this material is not meant for Gnostic Instructors and Missionaries to repeat its content verbatim, thereby nullifying their creativity. Rather, it serves as a very precise guide on the foundation of each class, allowing them to blend it with their own temperament and creativity and the expression of their inner BEING. This way, whenever they must stand before an audience to impart the sacred teachings of Gnosis, they can represent with dignity the Venerable White Lodge and the Avatar of Aquarius, our beloved Master SAMAEL AUN WEOR.

Brother Missionaries, we are in critical times, of many needs, physical and spiritual, humanity is sinking in the abyss, society and its systems are collapsing, darkness is covering the entire surface of the Earth…

Brother Missionary, we need you, Brother Missionary, Humanity needs you, Brother Missionary, the Venerable White Brotherhood needs you, CHRIST needs you, on the battle front…

To battle, to battle, to battle…

For the CONQUEST OF THE LIGHT and for THE TRIUMPH OF CHRIST ON EARTH…

V.M. MICHAEL DECEMBER 19, 2019 MONASTERY AEON 13 MOUNT OLYMPUS — GREECE

Introduction

This First Chamber manual has been created with three purposes:

  1. To function for the Instructors as a “bridge” between the PENSUM and the books of the Venerable Masters.
  2. To help us have a comprehensive and organized picture of the teachings and information related to each subject.
  3. To give us an impetus to study and delve into the Teachings.

We especially ask every Instructors who will use this manual to remember two things:

  1. The First Chamber manual contains in a concise form most of the information related to each class. It can never take the place of the study which the Instructor must do by reading the books of the Masters in order to prepare a subject. We must always do our own study and reflection on every subject that we teach.
  2. Each Instructor has his own temperament and the particular expression of his Inner Being. This means that it is always better, after we have studied and prepared a subject, to allow our Being and our personal creativity to express itself rather than repeat the text from the manual.

The purple-colored text is information and parts of the Teaching that we either do not need to or can not say in the First Chamber.

Every Instructor should have the ability to perceive the level of the people he is addressing so that he can raise or lower the level of his lecture according to their capacities and needs. If the level of the lecture we give is below the level of understanding of the audience, then the people will get bored. If, on the contrary, the level of our lecture is higher than the level of understanding of the audience, then the people will not understand and in the worst case they will get “burned out”, since they will not be able to “digest” something of what we told them.

This means that, as Instructors, we should know much more about each topic than what we say in the lecture, so that we can raise its level if the audience is more demanding (i.e. old Gnostics or people with a background in esotericism), as well as having material to use when asked questions.
