Lesson 22: The Restoration
The Christ
- Christ is not a person, is a Cosmic Force: it is Life pulsating in everything.
- “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” — John 14:6
The Church
- Our physical body should be a Church in which Christ resides.
- Unfortunately, man, because of the violations and abuses he committed, made the ‘ego’ dwell in him instead of Christ and ceased to be a Church.
- We must now restore our Church so that our Inner Christ may dwell and officiate in it again.
- If we look at it on the external level, a Church of Christ is an esoteric initiation school that teaches us the keys to restore our own Church.
The Pillars of the Church of Christ
1. Love
- Christ is Love.
- “This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” — John 15:12
- The ‘ego’ can not really love.
- Only the Soul can truly love.
2. Chastity
- Christ in us, is located in the sexual glands.
- Sexual energy is Christic. Sperm is made up of the strongest solar atoms: it is concentrated sunlight.
- Anyone who eliminates sexual energy from his body loses the opportunity to incarnate Christ.
- Sperm is the raw material from which we must build the Church of Christ.
- “And I also say to you that you are Peter (rock), and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 16:18-19
3. Transubstantiation
- Transubstantiation is the highest form of energy transmutation: the most powerful way to receive strengths and energies that will help us in our inner work.
- In the Transubstantiation the bread and wine are transformed into the body and blood of Christ.
- From the higher worlds descend Christic atoms that are deposited in bread and wine.
- At the same time, the Christic atoms that are already in the bread and wine, which were collected from the wheat and the grape as they ripened, are released and activated.
- These Christic atoms enter our bodies to fight our inner darkness and give us impulse and strength in our path.
- In order for this mystery to take place, it is necessary:
- “The one who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” — John 6:54
4. Spreading the Teachings
- Christ is the Logos.
- He always incarnates in the Great Masters and comes into the world to teach.
- Therefore, in order to incarnate Him we must at our level imitate Him, spreading His Teaching.
- “And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom” — Matthew 9:35
5. Conquer the Inner Light
- The science of inner Light is the science of Inspiration.
- To be inspired is to evoke a higher state of consciousness.
- In order to learn how to provoke it, we must seek it through the things that inspire us:
- E.g. the beauty of Nature, a work of objective art, the inner Father, Divine Mother or inner Christ, a Master, the Teachings, etc.
- Inspiration is the most powerful technique to control the mind and awaken Consciousness.
- When we are inspired the earthly mind becomes passive and we come in contact with the higher mind.
- With inspiration we stabilize the energy in our heart as Spiritual Life.
- Therefore, every time we do Pranayama, runes, vocalizations, mantras etc. when we finish, we must dedicate a few minutes in causing a state of inspiration so that we can crystallize this Light in the heart.
6. Unite our Truth with the Truth of God
- Everyone has their own truth according to their personal views, ideas and experiences.
- To unite our truth with the Truth of God we must:
- Understand that the Truth is not in a belief, theory, group, school.
- Eliminate prejudices and wrong mental attitudes from within us.
- Neither to accept, nor to reject, but to consciously research in order to reach our own understanding.
- Not to be content with believing, but to practice the Teachings in order to reach our own experience.
- “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32
7. Conquer the 4 Elements
- Each element has a negative side that is competitive in our internal work.
- Overcoming the negative side of each element, we conquer it and put it at the service of the Consciousness.
- Every element we conquer becomes for us an ingredient for the construction of our inner Church.
| Element | Negative Side | How to Overcome | When We Conquer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fire | Anger, Pride | Understanding, Calmness | Peace, Love |
| Air | Negative thoughts, Doubts | Mind control, Solar faith | Freedom, Inspiration |
| Water | Lust, Passion | Transmutation, Chastity | Joy, Harmony |
| Earth | Inertia, Laziness | Activity | Stability, Security |
